Jes lends her fun, fresh approach to every event undertaken by her namesake company. With Jes, you get experience, taste, and personal service, but you get lots of personality and fun as part of the package. She stumbled into the industry at the ripe old age of thirteen and applied her keen eye for design and passion for the unexpected to building her own event design and production firm. Jes has created captivating corporate events for Target, Tommy Hilfiger, Nissan, Budweiser, Rowenta, Swatch, King World Media, and many others, and continues to dazzle brides and socialites alike with dream-like weddings and dazzling private affairs. She is fiercely devoted to her community and to the city of New York, and is involved with several local charitable organizations. With a strong base in New York, she is now expanding her horizons to the west coast where she now has a Los Angeles based office, and to the world as an expert on design-focused Reality TV. Jes adores her Boston Terriers Hurricane & Ruckus, and would rather hang out on the Lower West Side of Manhattan or Venice, California, than anywhere else in the world. Jes boxes (she can go eight full rounds), plays the drums, and is an avid collector of contemporary art (she had an art gallery in Taos, New Mexico).

Bill owns his own editing house, Rex Edit, in Venice, CA. But, in his spare time he works full-time for JES! Even when he doesn't have spare time, he works for JES! Bill enjoys spoiling the couple's pets Ruckus and Bella the Cat. Most people compare Jes and Bill to Rock and Rain; Bill is obviously the Rock.

Joe loves to have proper FUN – anytime, anywhere. His career in events began with Wolfgang Puck Catering in Los Angeles, where every detail was planned and re-planned and re-planned again until it was perfect. As an assistant at the time, he would have told you this was painstaking. But as a life lesson, his experience was invaluable. In two short years, Joe became a Sales/Operation Manager delivering clients the top-notch full-service they expected while continuing to oversee that each and every haricots verts on all 500 plates were cut at 3 inches on a bias. He spent two years on the floor at the Governors’ Ball, catered private home dinners in some of Beverly Hills’ most luxurious homes and ran events from all corners or southern California. His digs were in Santa Monica and Joe loved spending his days rollerblading from Washington Street to the Palisades, but there came a day when Joe realized he wanted to take his career back to his hometown of New York. He worked as an event director with some of NYC’s premiere catering companies and jumped right into the luxury retail markets and the large not-for-profit galas rubbing elbows with some of NY’s finest. Joe loves to challenge himself in every area of his work which led him to jes GORDON. From concept to creation, Joe runs the show with an accuracy and efficiency that keep clients coming back for more.

Susan has access to inside information due to the fact that Jes is her daughter! Aside from a lifetime as a working musician and now working appraiser, Susan has had some experience in this field by having helped in the business when Jes started out at Tavern on the Green. (I just remember carrying a lot of flowers, REALLy early in the morning!)   Writing has always been a part of her life as she is a published song writer and at present teaches at the Community College nearby. She is definitely up for the blogs and mixing in those “Mommyisms” everyone else is too young to remember!   Susan enjoys husband Al, kids and grandkids, family and fun. She loves animals and adores her two enormous cats, Django and Kobe who RULE!
